Taking a page from sis’s blog entry, here are my writing goals for the next two years.
- Finish TSG. And by finish I mean two drafts minimum, then a round of critiques, then a round of copyedits, then submission. Timeframe: one year.
- Agent Hunt. The Knight Agency and I have parted ways and so I am once again hunting for an agent. I’m starting to compile a short list of agents I want to target. I think I’m going to expand my search this time around to agents who represent novels other than romance. Timeframe: unknown.
- Submit ROGUE to epublishers. This shouldn’t take too long. I also have a short list of epublishers I’m targeting. Timeframe: three months.
- Attend ThrillerFest, a.k.a. Writing Mecca. Timeframe: with the bad economy, this is a big, fat unknown.
Finishing TSG is goal numero uno. All others must wait until then.

Oh, I hope you find the money to go to ThrillerFest. It always looks so INTERESTING. Makes me wish I were a writer so I could go and just learn fascinating things that I’ll never in my life need (I’m a information junkie!).

Methinks there’s a writer lurking inside you just waiting to get out.
